LEGO is going bigger than ever with its next Lord of the Rings release.
The newly announced Minas Tirith set — based on the iconic capital of Gondor — is set to become the largest LOTR LEGO build to date, coming in at a massive 8,278 pieces. That easily tops the previous record holder, the Rivendell set, by more than 2,000 pieces.
With that scale comes a premium price tag. Fans looking to add Minas Tirith to their collection can expect to pay around $650.
For dedicated builders and Tolkien fans alike, though, this could be one of the most detailed and ambitious Middle-earth sets LEGO has ever created.
