Backrooms took the top spot this weekend with a massive $81.5 million debut, shattering records for A24 and making 20-year-old Kane Parsons the youngest director to score a number-one film.
Horror continued its strong run with Obsession in second place, crossing $100 million, while The Mandalorian and Grogu dropped to third. Rounding out the top five were Michael and The Breadwinner.
