Downtown Brandon is gearing up for one of its biggest street parties of the year as the Kick’n Off Summer Block Party takes over the corner of 12th Street and Princess Avenue on Saturday, June 20, 2026. The free event runs from 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and promises a full afternoon and evening of live music, food, shopping and local craft beer.
Co‑hosted by Section 6 Brewing Co. and The Dock on Princess, the block party will transform the area into an open‑air festival space. Visitors can expect a makers market featuring local artisans, a variety of food vendors, and a beer garden showcasing Brandon’s growing craft beverage scene. With entertainment scheduled well into the night, organizers say the event is designed to draw people downtown and kick off the summer season with energy and community spirit.
The block party is part of the Brandon Downtown BIZ’s ongoing effort to revitalize the city centre by creating reasons for residents to return to the core. Executive Director Emmy Sanderson says events like this help boost foot traffic, support local businesses and build momentum for a more vibrant downtown.
