Brandon Police responded to a series of incidents over the weekend, including a stabbing, an armed robbery and a weapons-related arrest.
Officers were called to a residence following reports of multiple people being stabbed. Police say three individuals, including the suspect, suffered injuries consistent with a bladed weapon. All three were taken for medical treatment, while the suspect was later arrested and remains in custody awaiting a court appearance.
In a separate downtown incident, a man was arrested after allegedly using bear spray to rob a couple of a necklace. Police say the suspect fled the scene but was apprehended a few blocks away a short time later and held for court.
Police also arrested a man after observing suspicious behaviour in downtown Brandon. Officers allegedly found the individual in possession of bear mace despite court-ordered conditions prohibiting him from possessing weapons. He was taken into custody and held for a court appearance.
