Though Dauphin Regional Health Centre continues to be closed following heavy flooding damage, Prairie Mountain Health has announced a temporary solution in Dauphin for some of the services they provide.
In a post on their Facebook page, PMH said they and Shared Health Diagnostic Services were opening a temporary diagnostic patient service centre in Dauphin. Walk-in appointments with a requisition from a health care provider are available for X-rays, urine collection, blood tests, EKG & Holter monitoring.
According to PMH, the new service centre will be open in the Provincial Building at 27 Second Avenue Southwest. It is on level one in room 111 and is open from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM from Monday to Friday.
Other diagnostic services, including MRIs and ultrasounds, will require a referral from a healthcare provider.
