Prairie Mountain Health says their crews have accomplished a lot in their efforts to bring Dauphin Regional Health Centre back into working order, but they have not yet released a timeline for when the hospital will re-open.
In the latest update on their Facebook page, PMH shared photos of work being done on the hospital, much of which was being done in the basement, which suffered extensive flooding damage.

“While there is still much work ahead, we are deeply grateful for the dedication, hard work, and support of everyone helping restore the DRHC,” reads the post. “Thank you to the dedicated staff, partners, volunteers, and community members for your commitment and patience as this important work continues.”
In their latest update on services for Dauphin and area residents, PMH said they had opened a new temporary diagnostic patient services centre offering walk-in X-ray, urine collection, blood tests, electrocardiogram (EKG) & Holter monitoring services at the Dauphin Provincial Building on level one in room 111. Emergency departments in Grandview and Ste. Rose remain open as well, with Ste. Rose being open 24/7.
The Dauphin Regional Health Centre has been closed since early July due to flooding caused by heavy rains in Dauphin.
