Fans at Noah Kahan’s sold-out Rose Bowl Stadium show got a huge surprise Saturday night when Chappell Roan joined him on stage.
Kahan teased the moment with a staged payphone bit before bringing Roan out to perform “California,” a fan-favorite from her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess.
During the performance, Roan praised Kahan, telling the crowd he has always supported her and is “a good person, for real.” Kahan returned the love, calling “California” the first song of hers he ever heard and the reason he fell in love with her music.
