Olivia Rodrigo just surprised fans with a brand-new song called “Serena Joy”—but getting your hands on it wasn’t easy.
The track was released exclusively on a limited-edition CD sold through Analog Music Shop in Tustin, California. The store only received 500 copies, and they sold out almost immediately, with some now being resold online for hundreds of dollars.
Rodrigo says the song was recorded during the sessions for her latest album, You Look Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love, but ultimately didn’t make the final tracklist. Even so, she revealed that she still loves the song, making its surprise release an exciting treat for fans.
