Sherwin-Williams has officially named Celery SW 6421 as its 2027 Color of the Year.
The soft green shade, featuring subtle yellow undertones, was chosen for its connection to wellness, balance, and a sense of calm. Sherwin-Williams describes the color as both soothing and uplifting, fitting in with the growing trend toward nature-inspired interiors.
Not everyone is sold, though. Social media users have had some strong opinions, with some comparing the shade to “hospital green” and others saying they’re ready to move on from muted color palettes altogether.
