Lil Nas X is back with new music, and it’s easily his most personal release in years.
The singer has dropped“World’s Greatest,” a heartfelt song and music video dedicated to his late mother, Tameka Hill, who passed away in August. The track is filled with messages of hope and perseverance, while the video reflects on his childhood, personal struggles, and the journey that made him who he is today.
The release is especially emotional because it features a voicemail from his mother, whose words of encouragement inspired the song. Lil Nas X has shared that one of her favorite sayings was, “Walk by faith, not by sight,” a message that now serves as the heart of the track.
