The Brandon AAA Midget Wheat Kings are looking for a new head coach after Ken Schneider decided to step down after four seasons as the team’s bench boss.
Schneider posted a 124-45-7 record in four seasons at the helm, an impressive .724 winning percentage.
He guidedBbrandon to a first-place finish in the regular season this past year, the team’s first pennant since 2004, but the season ended in disappointment with a semifinal loss to Eastman in the playoffs.
The team says the search for Schneider’s replacement will begin immediately.
