Brandon’s Lois Fowler is part of a three-way tie for first-place after three days of the Canadian Senior Curling Championship in Yellowknife.
Fowler split her two games Monday, beating Ontario’s Marilyn Bodogh 10-3 and losing 9-7 to Nova Scotia’s Colleen Pinkney.
The Manitoba champs are now 4-and-1 record, tied with Ontario and Saskatchewan’s Lorraine Arguin for top spot.
Fowler will play two more games on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Neepawa’s Kelly Robertson is 3-and-2 heading into day four at the Canadian Seniors.
Robertson downed Prince Edward Island’s Ted MacFadyen 13-4 and dropped a 9-7 decision to Nova Scotia’s Alan O’Leary on Monday.
Robertson is part of a three-way tie for fifth-place with British Columbia and the Yukon.
Nova Scotia leads the way at 5-and-0 and three teams (Alberta, Ontario and Northern Ontario) tied for second at 4-and-1.
