Winnipeg, MB (CKLQ) – Three unanswered goals in the third period led the way for the St. Anne Aces to win the Senior A Provincials over the Boissevain Border Kings.
The Carillon Senior Hockey League champs scored three goals in the third after coming into the period tied 4-4, winning 7-4.
Brendan Walker scored a hat trick in the win.
Meanwhile, Boissevain was plagued with penalty problems all game long, going shorthanded six times, including four times in the third period.
The Border Kings only had one powerplay during the game.
Border Kings goaltender Cody Matthewson stopped 41 of 48 shots in the game.
