The Brandon Wheat Kings were shutdown for the second straight game in dropping a 3-0 decision against the Edmonton Oil Kings on Tuesday afternoon.
Tristan Jarry stopped 29 shots for his second straight shutout for Edmonton while Jordan Papirny made 54 saves for Brandon, who are down two games to none in the best-of-seven Eastern Conference semifinal.
Edgars Kulda had a pair of goals and an assist while Ashton Sautner also scored for the Oil Kings, who went 1-for-8 on the power-play while the Wheat Kings went 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
Games Three and Four are at Westman Place on Tuesday and Wednesday with both contests starting at 7 p.m.
