The Santa Clara Baseball League has been reduced to a six-team circuit for the 2014 season.
The Ebb & Flow Lakers have taken a one-year leave of absence while the Parkland Brewers and Dauphin Midgets have dropped out.
The league will add the Austin A’s to the circuit to complete the field, which includes the Minnedosa Mavericks, Carberry Royals, Neepawa Cubs, Plumas Pirates and Portage Padres.
The teams will play at 15-game regular season schedule, with opening day set for May 21st.
Most of the teams will begin getting ready for the start of the season by participating in a pre-season tournament.
It’ll take place May 10-11 in Plumas.
