The Canadian Football League’s Calgary Stampeders released Brandon product Chris Bauman on Thursday.
Bauman missed the entire 2013 campaign after suffering a fractured wrist on the third day of training camp, and then suffering a torn ACL in his during practice in practice in early October.
In 2012, the former first overall pick in the CFL Draft played in eight games with the Stamps, catching 16 passes for 212 yards and one touchdown.
In his seven-year CFL career with Hamilton, Edmonton and Calgary, Bauman has 141 catches for 1,855 yards and seven touchdowns.
