Former Brandon Bobcats’ captain Garrett Popplestone is back in the Wheat City following his international assignment.
Popplestone has completed his first pro season of volleyball in Sweden, where he was named a tournament all-star and earned numerous game MVP awards with his club.
Popplestone made the jump to the pro ranks after three seasons with his hometown BU men’s volleyball team.
He served as captain in his final year and helped the Bobcats capture their first-ever Canada West title and CIS bronze medal in 2013.
