We’ve had an extreme cold warning in effect for a couple of days now and because of it, I’ve seen fewer dogs outside going for walks.
And this got me thinking… At what temperature is it too cold to take your dog for a walk? Now every dog is different. For example, a Husky can withstand lower temperatures than a Terrier.
I know for Tillie our dog. She is a German Shepard Golden Retriever mix and I won’t walk her if it’s colder than -35
However, On a day like today, she had to wear her winter coat and her winter boots. I have a picture of her in her winter attire on our website.
