Aliens are all the rage in Canada! Our time outside has spiked during the pandemic but that’s not all. Canadians are also spending more time looking towards the skies and we’ve seen an increase in UFO sightings in the last year!
According to Ufology research in Winnipeg, Canadians seeing UFOs has increased roughly 46% since 2020! We’ve broken a record with over 1000 different sightings! Sadly Ontario and Quebec beat out Manitoba when it comes to who’s seeing the most. Around 24% of sightings last year came from Quebec, while Ontario accounted for around 30%.
I haven’t been outside a lot at night recently thanks to our lovely Manitoba winter weather, but with things warming up and spring finally upon us, we could be getting more stargazers in Westman seeing possible UFOs.
