Instead, they gave a piece of paper with a massive list of questions about a situation she might be in.

For example “You locked yourself out”. Next to that in descending order of importance/who would pick up, they listed who their daughter could call. So first she’s supposed to call derrick, and then if he can’t help call Holden and so forth and so on until she gets the assistance she needs.
Some other examples include:
1. Your car won’t start…call Grandpa…then Neal…and then still NOT US
2. You miss us…NOT US
3. You and your boyfriend broke up, call Sarah, then Caroline, Theresa and finally Grandma
4. You have drama with Sarah… Call Caroline
And my personal favourite….you think you messed up but you aren’t sure if we will care…call Theresa first. I love that they took the time to think of not only situations this child could get themselves into, but also who in their friend and family group would be best suited to fix the situation. I’m gonna steal this for my future kids cause it’s too perfect!
