September long weekend is almost upon us. For many it’s the last chance for families to have some fun before the kids head back to school. For others it’s just a normal weekend that they have to work. For me it means starting to clean up at the cabin and getting ready to shut it down for the season. It always amazes me how fast the season goes. It feels like we just got the cabin open and in just a couple of weeks the water will be shut off and we’ll be closing it up again. Whatever you’re doing this long weekend, whether it’s one last camping trip with the family, a day trip to somehwere in Southern Manitoba you’ve never had a chance to visit, Drive-in nights in Minnedosa, or cabin clean up, I hope you take some time to rest, relax, and enjoy the weekend.
