Contest Sponsor

Pattison is the Contest sponsor.  The Walt Disney Company (Canada) Ltd. (“Disney”) is the prize provider.  For the avoidance of doubt, the Disney is neither a sponsor nor a co-sponsor of the contest.

Timing

Contest is open September 28, 2026 starting at 5:00am (PST) through October 23, 2026 at 4:00pm (PST). Prize will be drawn Monday October 26, 2026.

RULES AND REGULATIONS

Application

These rules and regulations (the “Alternate Rules”) shall apply to the Fairytale Flyaway Contest (the “Contest”) If there are any discrepancies between these Rules and any General rules and regulations posted on any Pattison website (the “General Rules”), such discrepancy shall be resolved in favour of these Alternate Rules.

Eligibility

The Contest is open to legal residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba who have reached the age of majority in the province in which they reside. No person who is employed by Pattison, Disney, their affiliate or parent companies and no family member of such employee shall be entitled to enter the Contest.

This contest is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter

There is no purchase necessary to enter the Contest.

Enter the contest by listening for the “keyword” on the participating stations listed above. Upon hearing the keyword, participants must text the keyword to one participating station text line.  Participants will be granted one entry per occurrence.  Participants sending more than guess may be disqualified.  Standard messaging rates may apply.

Participants can also receive one bonus entry per day by signing in to one participating station website.

Winners will be chosen by random draw.

Upon being declared a potential winner, the entrant will be required to answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question. Upon correctly answering that question, the potential winner will be declared the winner.

Grand Prize

No Prize may be exchanged for cash, sold or transferred to any third party.

One (1) prize will be awarded (the “Grand Prize”). The winner will receive a 4-night/5-day Disneyland® Resort vacation package (the “Vacation Package”) for the winner and up to three (3) guests (each a “Guest”; collectively, “Guests”; and together with the winner, the “Group”). The Vacation Package includes:

• Up to four (4) round trip coach airfares for the Group between the major Canadian International airport closest to winner’s residence (the “Departure Airport”) and a Southern California airport (the “Arrival Airport”) as chosen by Disney (with possible layovers) on a Disney-selected carrier (airports, airlines carriers and flights to be selected by Disney in its sole and absolute discretion).

• Up to four (4) round trip ground transfers for the Group between the Arrival Airport and the Disneyland® Resort (ground transfers to be selected by Disney in its sole and absolute discretion).

• Hotel accommodations for the Group (one (1) standard room/quad occupancy, including room tax, subject to certain room availability) for up to four (4) consecutive nights at a Disneyland® Resort hotel or a Disneyland® Resort area hotel selected by Disney in its sole discretion (parking at the Disneyland® Resort or Disneyland® Resort area hotel is not included).
• Up to four (4) 5-Day Disneyland Resort Park Hopper tickets (subject to restrictions) for use by the Group.
• One (1) Disney Gift Card with a value of six hundred U.S. Dollars ($600.00 USD) for the winner that can be used for meals and Disney merchandise (subject to restrictions).
• The Vacation Package will not include the following: transportation from/to winner’s residence to/from the Departure Airport, airport departure fees, baggage fees; insurance (health, travel, medical); parking fees; room service, laundry service, spa treatments; food or beverages; merchandise, souvenirs; incidental expenses; local or long distance telephone calls; tips, gratuities, service charges; or any taxes; or any other charges not explicitly included herein.

• The estimated retail value of the Vacation Package is USD$9,381.00. The actual value of the Vacation Package may vary depending on point of departure, seasonal fluctuations of hotel rates and airfares, and fluctuations in the currency exchange rates for U.S. Dollars.  Any difference between the approximate retail value and the actual cost of the/each Vacation Package will not be awarded.

Grand Prize Restrictions

• Travel and lodging for the Vacation Package awarded must be taken between January 1, 2027 and July 1, 2027. The Group must travel together on the same itinerary, and air transportation must be round-trip from/to the same Departure Airport/Arrival Airport as chosen by Disney.
• Vacation Package fulfillment and travel are subject to certain restrictions, air travel/flight availability, and certain hotel/room availability at the Disneyland® Resort. The Vacation Package must be booked through a travel agent as designated by Disney at least forty-five (45) days prior to arrival. Block-out dates apply. No extensions will be granted. Certain travel and lodging restrictions apply including airline carrier’s regulations and conditions. Airline tickets are non-refundable, non-transferable, and are not valid for upgrades. Pattison and Disney are not liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellation/delay. Theme park tickets are subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein and included on the theme park tickets. Both a theme park ticket and separate theme park reservation for the same park on the same date are required for park entry for the winner and each Guest. Theme park reservations and tickets will be required for each day of the visit and must be obtained before visiting. Winners will be responsible for making theme park reservations on behalf of the Group. Park reservations are limited and subject to availability. Park reservations do not guarantee park admission or access to any experience, attraction, or offering. Winner and Guests should visit Disneyland.ca/updates for important details to know before traveling to the Disneyland® Resort.
• Winner must be at least the age of majority pursuant to his/her applicable province of residence to enter and win.  A Guest under the age of majority must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian who must be at least the age of majority and both will be deemed Guests of the winner (unless the winner is the Guest’s parent or legal guardian).  Once selected by winner, Guests cannot be changed without the express consent of Disney, which may be withheld for any reason.
• Vacation Package and its components (including, without limitation, theme park tickets) may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer, separated, sold, exchanged or redeemed for cash, traded, transferred, substituted, assigned, or rescheduled to dates other than as set forth above, except in Disney’s sole and absolute discretion.
• All elements of the Vacation Package (including, without limitation, the theme park tickets) must be used by the Group on the same dates during the redemption of the Vacation Package.  Any portion of the Vacation Package not accepted or used by winner will be forfeited.
• Certain theme parks, hotels, restaurants, attractions, experiences, services and other offerings may be modified, limited in availability and capacity, or be closed.
• Theme park tickets must be used prior to July 1, 2027. Terms and conditions as set forth herein and on the theme park tickets shall apply. An inability to use any theme park tickets will result in forfeiture of such tickets.
• The winner may not charge any Guest for participating in the prize.  Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, expressed or implied, being provided by Pattison or Disney.
• The winner and his/her Guests are responsible for having valid travel documents including government-issued identification and/or passports, as applicable.
• The winner will not receive compensation for any element(s) of the Vacation Package (including, without limitation, theme park tickets) that any participant(s) is unable to use for any reason, and such unused portion(s) of the Vacation Package will be forfeited.
• If the winner chooses to bring less than the allotted number of Guests, the Vacation Package will be awarded in increments suitable for the actual number of participants with no substitute prize or compensation provided to the winner.
• The winner and his/her Guests will be required to execute a liability/publicity/COVID-19 release form prior to booking of any travel.  Failure to return the executed release form within the specified time period will result in forfeiture of the Vacation Package.  Winner acknowledges that he/she is solely responsible for any actions, claims or liabilities of the Group, related to any use or misuse of the prize or any prize-related activity or travel.
• Any damaged, lost or stolen theme park tickets, gift cards or travel vouchers will not be replaced.  Gift Cards are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash (except as required by law) and are subject to all terms and conditions of use as established by issuer.
• There may be specific state or government health agency instructions, guidelines and requirements for all visitors to the Disneyland® Resort.  The winner and their Guests are solely responsible, at their own cost, for staying updated on and complying with any of the latest restrictions and requirements that may be in place for travel to and visiting the Disneyland® Resort leading up to the planned stay.  Such restrictions and requirements are subject to change.
• All disputes arising out of or relating to any prize provided by Disney shall be resolved by applying the laws of California, without regard to conflict of law rules, and shall be solely and exclusively brought in state or federal courts within Orange County, California. Such claims shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and all such claims shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event to include attorneys’ fees.
• In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest promotional materials and the terms and conditions of the Alternative Rules, the Alternative Rules shall prevail and govern.

Odds of Winning

The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the number of entrants attempting to enter the Contest at any given time.

Liability

The winner acknowledges that the collection or use of any prize may be inherently dangerous and agrees to release and hold harmless Pattison for any and all damages they may incur through entering the Contest or through the collection or use of the prize. The winner also agrees to sign a standard release and waiver of liability prior to claiming the prize which will be provided.

Notwithstanding the execution or provision of the aforementioned standard release and waiver, each entrant and any potential or declared winner, by participating in any entering the Contest, releases Pattison, their subsidiaries, respective divisions, their parent corporations, their advertising and promotional agencies, their shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents and representatives (hereinafter the “Beneficiaries”) from any and all liability for any and all damage, loss or liability suffered as a result of or arising from the entrant’s participation in the Contest or the acceptance or use of any Contest prize. In order to be declared a winner and prior to obtaining the prize, any potential or declared winner agrees to sign a declaration to such effect in the release form. The guest(s) of a winner will also have to sign such a declaration to that effect in the release form, failing which they will not be able to take part in the prize.

Liability

In order to be declared a winner and prior to obtaining the prize, any potential or declared winner agrees to sign a declaration to such effect in the release form. The Guest(s) of a winner will also have to sign such a declaration to that effect in the release form, failing which they will not be able to take part in the prize.

General

Prize winners shall be responsible for all costs and expenses not explicitly stated to form part of the prize, including but not limited to taxes, fees, gratuities, insurance, or travel to and from the airport unless anything to the contrary is expressly provided for in the description of any such prize.

This prize includes travel, the prize winner must ensure that the winner and their chosen companion(s) have all the necessary travel documents required to travel to the destination on the dates specified in the prize description. The costs of any such required documents are not included in the applicable prize unless expressly provided for in the description of any such prize. The winner and their chosen companion(s) shall be solely responsible for the cost of such documents.

Pattison may at its sole discretion substitute a prize or a portion thereof with an alternate prize of equal or greater value. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Pattison shall not be responsible to substitute a prize or portion thereof where such prize cannot be redeemed due to factors beyond its reasonable control.

In the event it is impossible, difficult and/or more costly for Pattison to award a prize (or part of a prize) as described in these Rules, the Contest organizers reserve the right to award a prize (or part of a prize) of similar nature and equivalent value or, at their sole discretion, the value of the prize (or of the part of the prize) in cash.

Pattison reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, in whole or in part, in the case of the occurrence of an event, an error or any human intervention that could corrupt or affect the administration, safety, impartiality or the running of the contest as provided in these Rules.

All decisions of Pattison or those of their representatives regarding this contest are final and binding.

Winners will be notified by phone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If an eligible winner cannot be found for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.

Pattison reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest rules set out above; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, the Contest Website, or any related promotional website; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any of Pattison’s property or service; and/or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE CONTEST WEBSITE OR ANY RELATED WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, PATTISON RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES AND DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. If applicable, winners (and guests, if applicable) must at all times behave appropriately when taking part in the prize and observe the Contest rules and any other rules or regulations in force at any prize-related locations. Pattison reserves the right to remove from any prize-related locations, any winner and/or guest who breaks such rules and/or fails to behave appropriately and to disqualify such winner and/or guest.
