On March 21, 2023, at approximately 9:30 am, Brandon police responded to a male sleeping in a parked vehicle in the 100 block of Rideau Street. Police located a 34-year-old male in the driver’s seat. Police say he was passed out due to alcohol consumption while the vehicle was running, and officers observed alcoholic beverages in the vehicle. The male was arrested for Care and Control While Ability Impaired. He proved samples of his breath, which were over the legal limit. He was later released to a sober adult and will appear in court on March 30, 2023.

On March 21, 2023, police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residential storage unit in the 3400 block of McDonald Avenue. Suspects pried open the door within the last several days. Once inside they stole a variety of power tools including Yamaha and Makita brands. On March 21, 2023, Brandon police responded to a report of an unwanted female causing problems in an apartment building in the 2300 block of Ottawa Avenue. A 31-year-old female was arrested to prevent her actions from continuing and lodged at Brandon Police Service.

Arrest Warrants:
On March 21, 2023, a 24-year-old male attended Brandon Police Service to turn himself in; as he was aware he was wanted on outstanding charges. He was lodged to appear in court on charges of Assault with a Weapon X2, Possess Weapon, Fail to Attend Court X2, Uttering Threats and Administer Noxious thing with Intent.
On March 21, 2023, at 11:30 pm, police conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Louise Ave. The 48-year-old female driver was found to be wanted on outstanding charges under the Highway Traffic Act. She was arrested and later released to appear in court in June.
On March 22, 2023, police located and arrested a 29-year-old male who was wanted on outstanding charges of Fail to Attend Court, Drive Over .08 and Impaired Driving. He was later released to appear in court on May 8, 2023.
On March 21, 2023, a 38-year-old male attended to the Brandon Court House. The male as found to be wanted on outstanding charges of Break and Enter and Steal firearm, Robbery of Firearm and Break and Enter with Intent. He was arrested and lodged at Brandon Police Service and will appear in court today.
