WE’VE ALL BEEN THERE
You’ve got the family packed into the truck…RV in tow…kids asking every 10 minutes “are we there yet?”…and then you hear it – that clinking sound that you’re SURE is just the dishes in the RV jiggling around. But the thing is…you’re NOT sure.
Well, before you pull over, get on your knees and start cursing to every known deity in the modern world…relaaaaaaax. There’s a place just off the Trans Canada highway that kinda specializes in those “troubles-on-the-go”. Well…THAT and more. Like….waaaaaaaaaaaay more.
IT ALL STARTED WITH A BOTTLE OF WINE. WAIT…TOO FAR BACK.
We COULD go back four generations and say it started with a first date, a glass of wine and a night of romance and lace…but that’s private and none of your business (wink).
However, Advantage Auto and Trailer in Brandon DID begin with “lace”. The LACEY family…and yes, four generations (Please make a bit link to the words four generations... and it’s STILL in the family, with the fifth generation up and coming. They’ve been servicing Brandon and area for 30 years…and they are NOT slowing down. Even with the economic and life-changing devastation that Covid-19 has thrust upon us, THEY have grown stronger. Their dedication to the community and their gratitude for support has firmly planted Advantage Auto and Trailer as a local business that is going nowhere any time soon. They are here to serve…and here to stay
IN THE BEGINNING…
All great stories follow a simple formula – start small…build momentum…and go for the jugular! Advantage Auto and Trailer has lived this script to the letter. To keep the synopsis to a short read (‘cause believe me…we could have page after page of what they’ve accomplished), let’s plug away a few “to the point” facts from humble beginnings to one of Westman’s most trusted and respected Trailer services.
It all started with a small repair shop.
That small repair shop grew to a used car and truck dealership.
That used car and truck dealership EXPLODED into Westman’s largest trailer dealership that offers not ONLY trailers…but service, rentals, cars, parts, tires, leisure, storage…….(deep breath)….they even have a “Trade-In Calculator” on their website (yes…they accept trade-ins!)!! When I mean exploded…I mean EXPLOD-ED!!

Covid has hit A LOT of businesses in our community hard. No question. That’s why its even more heartening to hear of a local business that has stood up strong, to this pandemic bully. Because they are so committed to community. Have a reputation that is so solid. And put every fabric of family value into their business, Advantage Auto and Trailer has not only survived through it all but has thrived through the adversity. Being so diverse in service and product…Is just a small part of their “advantage” in the Trailer biz.
